Mid Autumn 2024 French Mooncakes

For this Mid Autumn Festival, Le Dessert designed a set of 2 Moon Cakes which are truly bridging the gap between East and West. Using French pastry techniques we redesigned this traditional dessert and created 2 recipes which will appeal to both Asian and Western palates. The base of our Moon Cake is traditional Financier and both recipe features a generous insert and flower shaped chocolate topping.
Our Chestnut & Matcha Mooncake is composed of a Matcha financier base, a chestnut insert and a white chocolate coating.
Our Chocolate & Gianduja Mooncake is composed of a chocolate financier base, a homemade Gianduja insert and a dark chocolate coating.
The Moon Cakes will be available from August 1st but you can pre-order now.
